Waterfall Lodge Wedding | Agi + Matt | Santa Cruz Wedding Photographer

This Waterfall Lodge wedding scored high on the Adorable list. Agi and Matt planned the perfect redwood wedding for themselves. And the rest of us reaped the roasted pig and s’mores-filled benefits.

These two

Agi and Matt are so laid back. They giggle always and make me feel like my jokes are actually good jokes. They were so chill during their engagement session, where the wind tried to ruin the mood with it’s icy fury. These two are an ideal couple to hang with during less-than-ideal situations!

So secret time: Waterfall Lodge is just a re-branded Stones and Flowers. There are now more options for couples wanting to get married there. More better options. So Agi and Matt’s Waterfall Lodge wedding ended up being better than any Stones and Flowers wedding they could have planned.

I love

Let me describe some things I love at weddings. Some happen at most or all weddings, and some make an event more memorable because it’s unique. Firstly, I love when the bride walks down the aisle herself. This day among the tall redwoods, Agi strutted her gorgeous self down the aisle with confidence. Secondly, I like impressing brides. I’m a pretty dude-y bro homie, so when a bride compliments me on my gown knowledge I feel like I’m doing pretty good at my job. I can bustle a wedding dress, and this impressed Agi. And I like teaching brides about the ‘wrist strap’ trick, which makes holding up a dress a bit easier.

Also I have to say that wedding gowns with pockets are awesome. Add that to the Favorites list. And finally, I like when dad’s have to step aside and keep a kid occupied. I enjoy keeping an eye out for that ultimate dad move, during ceremony or speeches. It’s a Kodak moment that has to be captured. And of course, as a dad, I can relate and give them the ol’ “whattaya gonna do” look.

Thank you!

So thanks a million to Agi and Matt for the million moments. Thanks for being so easy going and giggly. These two are the perfect photo subjects. Their Waterfall Lodge wedding couldn’t have been better-fitting for such a lovely pair. Please enjoy some favorites from their Waterfall Lodge wedding below.
