Still Music: Wedding Photography
Santa Cruz, CA
We pride ourselves in bright, beautiful images that honestly capture your day. Our favorite part of our job is getting to know our clients. Whether at a coffee shop or in our home office, we LOVE getting to meet with our potential (and current) clients and learning about their story. That personal connection is what inspires us to shoot beautiful photos and makes being in front of the camera a lot less painful for our couples. We aren’t huge fans of photoshop or artificial posing. Instead, we strive to capture the love between our clients by making them feel comfortable in front of the camera so that the pictures feel (and look) natural.
Totally exactly like this one to the left. Definitely.
We work with our clients to make their wedding day as stress-free as possible. That is why we help our clients develop a “day of” timeline as well as your portrait groups so that we are all on the same page when the big day arrives. We work with other vendors and collaborate with everyone involved to ensure an easy and fun-filled experience for our clients. We come prepared for anything whether it be extra bobby pins for the flower girl’s hair or a last minute officiant (Jeremy is ordained!). Ultimately, we want your wedding day to be the best day of your life and we want your photos to reflect that.
As Erin transitions into her new career as a Social Worker, Jeremy takes the lead and Erin takes on new roles in the company. We’re excited to expand our talented pool of associates as we reach out to new talent for 2nd shooting.
We hope you will give us a call and tell us your love story!
We can’t wait to hear it!

The following video is one Jeremy produced. It’s documenting Jeremy and Erin’s first anniversary trip to the Oregon coast. It’s long, so you don’t have to watch it all. Just a glimpse into their life together.

“Wedding photographer Eric Turner reps the hillbilly woods of Sonora, CA where we were both raised. Turner and I have known each other for a while. And we’ve been best friends for a while. We’ve always shot together. We shot together for his first wedding… that we did for free. Of course, now he’s so good that he can’t afford to shoot weddings for free, so don’t get any ideas. Turner was one of my 3 best mans in my wedding; so he’s pretty important. He’s also a new father! There are many obvious reasons I love shooting with my best friend. Who wouldn’t want to work with their best friend doing something like wedding photography? But the other reasons I like shooting with Turner is because he makes me a better person. Turner’s a people person, even when he doesn’t feel like it; and being a people person is one of the most important things about being a good wedding photographer. You have to be extra friendly, you have to be extra goofy, extra outgoing, extra patient, and extra understanding. And Turner is all of these. So if shooting with him makes me able to do these extra things extra, then I’m a better person. Turner likes to bridge jump, ride motorcycles and build anything.” – Jeremy
We met Karen through a valuable recommendation. We’re very lucky to be able to have her on board! Karen is from Nebraska and came out to California to study photography at Brooks in Santa Barbara. Immediately after school, she charged up to the Northwest to take Seattle by storm. Within a year she had already started down her illustrious career as a talented Seattle wedding photographer. She loves laughing, taking portraits of people, the warm feeling when a client is overwhelmed by their beautiful images, and building relationships with her subjects and clients. At our first introduction, the discussion was long, friendly and entertaining. If you’re getting married in the Northwest, chances are you’ll see her around! She’s a blast to have on board and we’re so happy to be working together.
