Roaring Camp Railroads is a unique place for a celebration, and has all kinds of perfect nooks and crannies to take pictures at. It was the area’s first railroad and trains have been taking visitors through the ancient redwoods as far back as 1875. It’s an awesome adventure for young kids, and makes for a fun way to celebrate a wedding.
Jodi and Robbie are the most laid back, easy going people one could meet. According to Jodi, “Robbie and I enjoy spending time outdoors from skiing in the winter to going to the beach in the summer. We are both involved in education both as classroom teachers and as coaches.”
Their day perfectly reflected their easy-going personalities. My favorite part of the day? Definitely doing portraits while the flower girl assisted me and rolled her eyes at the happy couple. Nothing like a judgmental child to really lighten the mood.
We had a blast at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk taking engagement pictures during the off season. It was awesome to have the whole place to ourselves. Check out that session here.
