It’s been almost 10 months since our family grew by one special little addition. Over 8.5lbs, she came into the world eyes wide and screaming. I ‘caught’ that little creature, but could barely hang onto her and she slipped through my hands. It was the wildest rollercoaster we’ve ever been on. Magnolia Joyce continues to fit her name perfectly with each new stage of growth and development. She’s patient, funny, curious, wild and flawlessly beautiful inside and out. She’s traveled out of state and across Europe. It’s clear the spirit of my Mom lives vibrantly through this little creature. Mom continues to teach us through Magnolia. They make us better.

Life is as full as it can be without Mom here. It’s also more terrifying—there’s more to lose now. Regardless, we look forward to loving her every day. And the only thing better is being loved by her. 10/10 would recommend.
